3. Patient Responsibilities

• Follow Instructions: Comply with pre-test preparation instructions (e.g., fasting requirements) to ensure accurate results.
• Valid Prescription: Present a valid prescription or doctor's referral when required for certain tests.
• Timely Payment: Pay for services as per our pricing structure and payment terms.
• Appointment Scheduling: Arrive on time for scheduled appointments or notify us at least 2 hours in advance for cancellations.
• Respect Staff: Treat our staff, facilities, and other patients with respect and courtesy.
• Report Issues: Immediately report any adverse reactions, concerns, or complaints to our staff.

4. Medical Information and Disclaimers

While we strive for accuracy and reliability in all our testing procedures, laboratory results are one component of a comprehensive medical evaluation and should not be solely relied upon for medical decisions.

5. Test Results and Reporting

5.1 Result Delivery

• Test results are typically available within the timeframe specified at the time of sample collection.
• Results may be delivered via email, SMS, WhatsApp, or collected in person with proper identification.
• Critical or abnormal results will be communicated to the referring physician immediately.
• We reserve the right to withhold results and require in-person consultation for sensitive tests.

5.2 Result Confidentiality

Test results are strictly confidential and will only be shared with:

• The patient or their authorized representative with proper identification
• The referring physician or healthcare provider
• Legal authorities when required by law or court order

6. Pricing and Payment

• Transparent Pricing: All test prices are clearly displayed on our website and at our facilities.
• Payment Methods: We accept cash, credit/debit cards, bank transfers, and mobile payment methods.
• Payment Terms: Payment is typically required at the time of service unless prior arrangements have been made.
• Corporate Accounts: Corporate clients may be eligible for credit terms subject to approval and agreement.
• Price Changes: We reserve the right to modify our pricing at any time. Current prices at the time of service will apply.
• Refunds: Refunds may be issued in cases of duplicate payments, canceled tests (before sample collection), or service errors at our discretion.

7. Appointments and Cancellations

7.1 Appointment Booking

• Appointments can be booked online, via phone, or through WhatsApp.
• We will confirm your appointment via SMS or WhatsApp at least 24 hours in advance.
• Walk-in patients are welcome subject to availability and may experience wait times.

7.2 Cancellation Policy

• Appointments may be canceled or rescheduled with at least 2 hours advance notice.
• For home sampling services, cancellations should be made at least 4 hours before the scheduled time.
• No-shows or late cancellations may result in cancellation fees for home sampling services.
• Repeated no-shows may result in restrictions on future online booking privileges.

8. Sample Collection and Handling

8.1 Sample Collection

• All samples are collected by trained and certified phlebotomists or medical technologists.
• We follow strict infection control and safety protocols as per international standards.
• Single-use, disposable equipment is used for all sample collections.

8.2 Sample Rejection

We reserve the right to reject samples that are improperly collected, contaminated, hemolyzed, insufficient in quantity, or not meeting our quality standards. In such cases, we will request a repeat sample at no additional charge.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Pakistani law:

• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our Services.
• Our liability is limited to the cost of the specific test or service in question.
• We are not responsible for medical decisions made based on test results without proper medical consultation.
• We are not liable for delays caused by factors beyond our control (e.g., equipment failure, natural disasters, strikes).
• We are not responsible for the actions of third-party service providers (e.g., courier services for home sampling).

10. Intellectual Property

All content on our website and materials, including logos, trademarks, text, graphics, images, and software, are the property of Health Diagnostic Lab and are protected by Pakistani and international intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content without prior written permission.
